The facility is Canada Posts largest, fastest, and most sustainable sorting facility. The facility can handle 1 million packages a day and 60,000 parcels an hour. An emphasis placed on employee health and well being was made priority when designing the building. The plant area is complete with ample natural light via sky lights. The skylights are detailed with integrated photovoltaic panels, and the interior is painted white to maximize daylight reflectivity throughout the plant.

In addition to the skylights and integrated mechanical and electrical systems, rest pods, multi faith rooms and a wellness centre are all provided within the building for employee health and productivity.

The Albert Jackson Processing Centre is much more than a building. It is a generational investment in the future of our country
