The project is the first phase of a multi phased development at the corner of Louis St Laurent Avenue and Fifth Line in Milton, Ontario. The first phase represents 4 industrial buildings ranging in size from 75,000 square feet to over 1,000,000 square feet.
We were brought to the project as the local architect of record to coordinate, implement, and assist the project team with all phases of approvals, contract documents, and contract administration following an initial design concept exercise with AK83 Arkitekter out of Aalborg, Denmark.

Through the various phases of the project we worked collaboratively with the design architect and owner to deliver a project that sets a new design and performance standard for speculative industrial development in the Greater Toronto Area.
The project reimagines the way we have come to think and interpret an industrial building in terms of aesthetics, material considerations, and circulation. The project considers qualities at an urban design scale throughout the business park and at a pedestrian scale at office nodes and outdoor amenity plaza areas. The project while rooted in operational efficiencies throughout the site, also has a strong commitment to pedestrian safety, outdoor recreation, multi use path networks, and naturalized areas.
